T O P I C R E V I E WRunAroundScreamingPisces men seem more feminine to me than cancer men, and scorpio squares all my leo. I figured I might as well team up with my own sign. So far it's going really well. He needs variety like I do and we're both easily amused. I love how expressive he is, too. And very energetic, too. He has moon in aries and mars in the first.Experience/advice/stories?Words of caution?lolFondue KnightI tend to bump heads with other Cancers -- males more so than females. I think I'd get along with your Cancer, though, because of all that Aries energy. I love me some rams. If you've got a lot of Leo, then his Aries moon probably digs it. Best of luck with the fiery crab man. RunAroundScreamingthank you, Mr. Fondue I actually, thinking about it now, also bump heads with other female cancers most of the time. It's pretty much 50/50.Fifty percent of the ones I've met I get along with, the other 50 I'm annoyed by.I like cancer guys, usually, though, for some reason. They're a lot more lighthearted and easygoing, I guess. Less naggy and bossy :PLol. You remember I have a leo moon. I feel special. You love aries, too? Zomg. =)SorchaWell I've had two Cancer boyfriends - my first two serious relationships actually. Both of them had Scorpio Moons however. I was with the first one for three years and the second for about seven years. The second guy had Venus in Leo and Mars in Aries. I will admit that there were some moody days in the house but personally I attribute this to both the Cancer and Aries influences. (Aries energy can be just as moody in my experience, but in a different way than Cancer energy)The nice thing about another Cancer is that ultimately there is a shared understanding of the sensitivity and occasional moodiness that happens and the positive similarities are great for feeling truly understood. The only real issue (for us) ended up being co-dependence since we were in our early twenties at the time and both still a bit clingy. Obviously it depends on the individual charts and the energies involved but from a Sun sign perspective, it can be very nurturing, sweet and deep.RunAroundScreamingSorcha, thanks for sharing! So far he seems to handle everything with a "just handle it, get over it" attitude, no neediness or clinginess yet. Sounds harsh, but it really isn't lol...cant explain it. He's trying to be practical in his advice, and i am the same way so i appreciate it.SorchaWell, as you know, Cancers are usually slow to open up. We like to front a bit and keep people at a distance until "we know" It takes a while to get to the soft part because of all those (slightly invisible) defensive claws at the ready and the (attractive but) hard-a** shell.I think it's always good to have some fire or earth with a Cancer placement just to balance things out as well as keep them exciting. (Or if you're like me, balanced with my Taurus moon and a little bit dramatic with my Leo Mars squaring that Moon).I look back on on my Cancer relationships fondly. And I wanted to add that although we are constantly labeled 'sweet, sensitive, etc', those symbolic claws do exist, as well as a loopy, looney streak. That can be super fun with right Cancerian fellow.FaithNot a Cancer but my parents-in-law were both Cancers and my husband's brother and his wife are both Cancers. My husband could have said, "Meet the family! All Cancer!" And he's a Leo. They just had one big party in July for all of them.Anyway, as an outsider, I like this match. Lasts long and is emotionally protective. None of my in-laws were/are particularly huggy and affectionate in public, though...if anything, there's less of that. But looking at their wedding pictures...wow, so much obvious love! And I know it lasted, they just maybe got sick of smiling so big all the time. Fondue Knight quote:Originally posted by RunAroundScreaming:You love aries, too? Zomg. =)Loooooove them. I have Sun conjunct Mars, so I really dig other people who won't hold a grudge over stupid stuff. I guess having Aries on my IC and Mars in Cancer kinda ties the two together for me in a way.Sorcha quote:Originally posted by Fondue Knight: Loooooove them. I guess having Aries on my IC and Mars in Cancer kinda ties the two together for me in a way. There seems to be something about Cancer and Aries being mashed up together in a chart (I'm soooo eloquent) that makes for some kind of fiery/emotional combination. I've had a bf who I mentioned who was a Cancer with Mars in Aries and and more recently an Aries bf with his Mars in Cancer. They were strangely similar. I also have Mars in my 4th house so maybe that's why, in my case, it worked out. Sort of like having Aries on the IC.Fondue KnightIt's funny because conventional wisdom would say that Cancer + Aries = BAAAAAAAD, but I think that's what I like about astrology... it's not that simple. I've got two singletons and two mutual receptions in my chart, so simplicity gets thrown right out the window. I think it was Lonake who said somewhere that I'm really an Aqua in disguise.ANYWAY, I'm rambling and going way off topic. I'm moving to Korea tomorrow and am completely exhausted from packing and getting everything together and am fairly certain that I've reached a dangerous level of delirium. SorchaCongrats on getting to go to Korea Mr. Fondue! I was going to start a June 23rd thread for the fun (and curiosity) of it, but maybe now I should wait until you're settled since you're a third of it. Ok, now I shall stop rambling. Have a safe flight!!!Fondue KnightThanks! There'll be wifi at the airport and I would assume at the hotel I'll be staying at for the first week, so I'll be back on LL most likely when I land and have time to kill before getting picked up. 14 hour flight. Oof. So, maybe start that thread in a day or two. SorchaDone RunAroundScreamingJust wanted to say: thanks, everyone
